I am so excited to share that Dr. James Myers with Amped Lifestyles has brought me in as a coach for his brand new virtual training and nutrition coaching program! Dr. Myers holds a Masters in Sports Science and Rehabilitation, and of course he helps me undo my self-inflicted damage from miles (and miles, and miles) of trails, and together we will work to bring you all the benefits of personal training with the convenience of being able to workout wherever best suits you!
Over the years I have fielded tons of questions and requests for workout suggestions from those of you who are ready to train on your own, but still want the guidance and confidence that comes form a program tailored to your specific fitness goals. Now, with Amped Lifestyles, you can access a personalized program right on your smart phone or tablet and always have your customized workouts right at your fingertips!
In addition to virtual training, we will offer nutrition coaching. Unlike traditional meal plans, our focus is to help and educate our clients about making smart food choices by taking small steps toward a lifestyle change. As I wrote in my previous blog, these changes are best implemented one at a time, week by week, rather than going through a huge diet overhaul that will leave you feeling exhausted and overwhelmed.
For those who still enjoy the personal touch, but are committed to taking their workouts into their own hands, I will offer my one-on-one fitness training sessions in addition to virtual coaching. Clients will meet with me twice a month for a hands-on workout to perfect old skills and learn new ones, with assigned workouts to carry them through the weeks during which they will train on their own.
